Clicking on the Download link above will open or save the file to your machine:
- If the file is a document understood by your machine, it will be opened in this frame. Typically, this will include Adobe portable document format (PDF) and word processor documents (such as DOC).
- You can force the system to save the document to your machine, instead of opening it, by right-clicking on the link above and selecting "Save Target As" from the menu (Some browsers may not support this). It is prudent to do so if the document is large, because you can then carry on with other tasks.
- If the file is an archive (such as a ZIP file) or a self-extracting archive (such as an EXE), a dialog box will open to assist you with downloading and saving the file to your machine. Remember that the security settings for your browser will affect whether files can be downloaded at all.
